André Chitlango

André is based near Maputo, Mozambique, and leads the teams of WITH’s partner More than a Mile Deep (MMD). André is a theologian and scholar who is heavily involved in assisting Churches in Africa in making Christ visible ‘on Monday’ as well as ‘on Sunday’. In addition to leading the African teams, André is helping networks of various church denominations in his own country to develop their own systems of training for pastors and lay leaders. These networks reach across the whole of Mozambique. André’s passion and influence makes him a catalyst in his own country to see churches become ‘Monday Churches’, making Christ visible throughout the week through a lifestyle of care for poor, job creation, uplifting marginalised, and in advocacy against corruption and violence.
