As I was concluding my Pentateuch class on 30/11/2016 in one of the universities in Nairobi, I took the opportunity to tell my students that my aim in teaching is to lead to transformation/change. That transformation comes when we reflect on what we do, propelling us to improved action. I emphasized – answering to a student – that what we learn in academia should be connected and reflected in our daily life and in our community.
